The first warm days of the year are not the best ones to serve bitter winter vegetables. But when you find them in your vegetable packet subscription, one has little choice. In this dish bok choy and chicory were stir fried together with some tamari and apple syrup. By doing this most bitterness is already taken away. Add rice and serve with a sweet-sour sauce which has plenty of pineapple in it so you get in some summer feelings after all.
