Vegan corn waffles with red beet

I had a party last weekend. But I will tell you all about it in a later post. Now I want to show this:

Van TofuParty dishes
  •  rind and juice of 1 lemon
  • 200 g corn
  • 1 dl soycream
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2 eq. egg-replacer
  • 100 g flour
  • pepper & salt

Mix all your ingredients and use your waffle-iron!!!!

 

I also made this a few weeks ago.  I’m sorry for the bad picture but I really want to give you the recipe:

Van TofuParty dishes

 

  • 1 apple
  • 50 almondmeal
  • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 2.5 dl soycream
  • thym, garlic, pepper & salt
  • 2 chicory
  • 1 tbsp soysauce
  • 1 tbsp tahin
  1. Chop the apple in little pieces and stir in almondmeal, 1 tbsp nutriotitional yeast flakes, chickpeaflour, 0.5 dl soycream and spices.
  2. Peel carefully the leaves from your chickory.
  3. Fill each leaf with the apple-mixture.  Put in an ovendish and cover each filled leaf with a new leaf.
  4. Put in the oven for +- 45 min at 175°C.
  5. Meanwhile mix all your other ingredients and pour over the chicory.
  6. Put in the oven again for 10 min.

I was not totally sure about the tahin mixture.  So next time I want to try this with another sauce on top.
