Sunday breakfast

OK, yesterday is was sunday.  And on sunday’s we have the tradition of getting up late.  Going to a bakery.  Buy some buns and sweet-buttery things.  We have a name for them in dutch ‘ontbijtkoeken’.  In a literally translation it would say ‘breakfastcookies’.  But they are not exactly cookies, it’s more like rolls, filled croisants, …  [...]

Silken chocolate mousse cake

For the hardest french study-weekend ever, what else would satisfy then a sweet treat with lots of chocolate. 

It’s the SILKEN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE from My sweet vegan!
I liked it a lot (but I’m a chocoholic anyway).  Teenage judge gave it only a 7,5. 
Next time I really have to do better.

Almond-cupcakes

Good for a 7,5 to 10. 

I used the ‘ Apricot-glazed almond cupcakes’ recipe from (what else?) Vegan cupcakes take over the world.  But without the apricots.

Chocolat-chip oatmeal cookies

For these cookies I used the recipe for “Sesame Oatmeal Cookies” from ‘My sweet vegan’.  Only I didn’t had any sesame seeds in the house, but luckely enough chocolat-chips.  I followed the recipe exactly but replaced the sesame seeds with the chocolate chips:
